Our program is designed based on the system of development in the United States and what is required of a player to afford a college scholarship or professional contract. We digressed this back to the U6 age group in order to create realistic development program for young players.
The 4v4 academy consists of 8 week segments that focus on ONE game realistic technique. The technique is progressed over the 8 weeks from its most basic application to game application. Players start each technique with no defensive pressure to allow for players to perfect the skill. The technique is progressed to a passive pressure environment to allow players to form an understanding of how and when to use the technique to achieve success. The technique is finalized by using the skill in a high pressure game environment.
