The Club was formed to provide players a stepping stone to collegiate soccer on the principle that athletic achievement, success, team membership, and genuine sportsmanship in highly competitive environments is exceedingly important for boys, girls and young adults. Our training program is established to provide the best quality youth soccer training services in the Central New Jersey area. Our aim and underlying motive is to enrich youth soccer players’ experience of the beautiful game by teaching the technical, tactical, physical and psychological pillars of quality soccer; and ultimately instilling or enhancing a desire and passion for the game that will enable the soccer players of tomorrow actualize their potential. Summer Select is a supplementary program to the structure of the travel club teams that participate in spring and fall seasons. Training consists of two sessions per week and tournament attendance through June and July. Each summer select team competes in at least three tournaments over the six week program. Our summer select program does not conflict with team schedules. The Jersey United Center of Excellence program is a spring/summer/fall training program with the objective of providing the finest soccer skills development environment for young soccer players. This curriculum is consistent with the Club’s overall philosophies and perspectives about the development of soccer players. The program is specifically designed as a feeder system and stepping stone to the Jersey United club team which is dedicated to progressing players into collegiate soccer and for the special few a place in the MLS or W-League. The Center of Excellence offers boys and girls aged 7 - 14 an opportunity to receive supplementary training from Jersey United professional trainers once a week whilst still remaining with their current team. Intended solely for competitive and elite travel players, the advanced curriculum is specially designed to target technical and functional aspects of the game.
