College Preparation Seminars

Jersey United Club recognizes the pathway to collegiate soccer is not solely achieved with hard work on the field. Each season Jersey United links with local experts to host instructional seminars for its players and/or parents. These seminars include but are not limited to:
 
*  NCAA/NAIA eligibility and the college recruitment process
*  Fitness/nutrition
*  Injury prevention/treatment
*  Sports psychology and game preparation

Player Profiles

As a college showcase club, Jersey United recognize the need to monitor our players progress and profile their achievements to interested parties. All Players U16 and above are provided with an online player profile on their team’s web site which will provide information about the player along with a photograph and some action photos (if available). These player specific profiles include detailed information about a player’s scholastic achievements, community service involvement, employment history as well as extensive details about the player’s playing and training experience (.i.e their "soccer resumè"). These profiles are also submitted to the "Soccer In College" service which helps college bound student athletes connect with and communicate with college programs that are best suited to them.

For players below high school age, NO PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHS are displayed to protect privacy. 

 Special Events 

Jersey United holds its annual Awards banquet to recognize the contributions of players, coaches, managers, other volunteers and parents.  This is a club that belongs to its members, and we let the members decide how they want to celebrate their achievements.  The Club will recognize athletes and volunteers in a number of different categories.  In addition, the Club routinely sponsors team, club and family events such as outings to professional sporting events, summer tournaments and an end of season dinner dance.
