About Central Jersey Spartans
The Central Jersey Spartans are a PDL Franchise based in New Jersey. The ancient Spartans were soldiers renowned for their tactical discipline, organization, and relentless training methods. The Central Jersey Spartans look to bring that approach and mentality into the PDL environment. At a time where some feel professional sports has become money and media driven, the Spartans will make an active effort to reach out to the Central Jersey community and become an integral part of the region we represent on the field of play.
The Central Jersey Spartans are dedicated to providing an entire soccer culture to our surrounding area. The first team will be the showpiece of an intrinsically linked system beginning at grass roots level with recreational camps and team training and working towards a nationally successful senior team. We will field a team that plays an attractive and tactically organized style of soccer and succeed in front of a fan base that feels a part of the club, rather than feeling as though they are only spectators viewing us from afar, they will all have a level of access to the Spartans that few franchises can match. We will have a fan base of players that have participated in our camps, had their travel teams coached by our staff and players, play in our youth system, or have family who do. This will allow them to feel personally attached to our club and this is how a passionate and loyal fan base will be built.
The Spartans will be a club and a culture, more than just a team.

We will provide the community with a positive soccer role model and a senior team that many will aspire to be part of, as a fan, a staff member, a volunteer, or a player.
