Champions of the Girls U13 Premier Division at the US Club National Cup Region B Tournament

The BSA Charge U13 Girls were crowned champions at the US Club National Cup Region B Tournament held in Pittsgrove, NJ the weekend of June 21-24. The Charge defeated some of the top teams in the region, including FC Delco, South Jersey Barons, TSF Select, and the USP Lady Strikers. The girls earned a trip to the prestigious US Club National Cup Finals in Virginia Beach on July 26-29.
The Charge were successful in reaching the championship game before losing to the only other NJ team in the Finals competition; the Freehold Lady Strikers. The girls played teams from all over the United States including the Florida Soccer Academy, Herndeen Elite (VA), and Lagrange (NY).
“I’m very happy with how the girls played. They gave a great effort throughout the entire tournament. We lost to a great team in the finals, but we proved that we deserved to be their. We look forward to coming back next year and getting that final result,” said Charge Head Coach and Jersey United Coach/Trainer Dominic Rice.
