The BSA Strikers U15 Girls were crowned champions of the white level at the Score Showcase Tournament in Greensboro, NC, the weekend of July 19-22.  The Strikers faced top teams from NJ, NY, CT, MD, VA, NC, FL, GA, and CO who were all within the top 10 rankings from their own respective state and had the opportunity to compete in front of over 100 college coaches. 

 The Strikers defeated the Greensboro Twisters (#7 team in NC) in the Semi-Finals.  In the finals, they faced Chantilly (#6 team in VA) and played to a scoreless draw before winning the game in dramatic fashion on penalty kicks. 

“I am very excited for the girls and the way they performed.  We played top level competition and we’re happy to get the result that we did in the finals,” said Head Coach Dennis Jackson.
