After taking a 1- 0 lead and looking comfortable we really should have pushed on and got the win. We allowed the oppostion back into the game and then both teams looked a little nervous, this resulted in both teams playing defensively. In the end the 1 -1 tie was probably a fair result.

A game of limited chances for both teams, however we did have the edge here and did create a few more than our opposition. We played great defensive and after taking the 1 - 0 lead we were able to shut the game down and take the 1- 0 win into the semi final. I was happy with our play during this game.

KEYSTONE SC KRUSH 3 JERSEY UNITED SOCCER FUSION 1
A sloppy start allowed the opposition to take an early 2 - 0 lead. We were able to pull one back just before halftime and almost scored a second through great passing and a great run off the ball to get in behind the other team, the shot went inches wide, this could have been the game changer. Instead we started the second half 2 -1 down. The game was played in tremendous heat and went a little flat later in the second half. If there was to be a another goal it would be so important to the scoring team, as it turned out the opposition got the third goal with 10 minutes left and killed the game off. Overall I was happy with our play during this tournament and the effort put in was fantastic. We should be proud of our performances over the weekend.
